1. Information We Collect

WaveLift collects the following information to provide our services:

• Account information: Email address and display name when you create an account via email, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In.
• Workout data: Exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, and session history you enter into the app.
• Form check videos: Videos you record or upload are stored securely and are only accessible by you.
• Guest usage: If you use the app as a guest, all data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Usage data: Crash reports and anonymous error logs used to improve app stability.

2. Apple Health Integration

If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, WaveLift may read and write workout session data to your Apple Health app. This integration is entirely optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the core workout tracking features of the app. HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the WaveLift service
• Sync your workout data across your devices
• Store and display your form check videos
• Send transactional notifications related to your account (if enabled)
• Diagnose crashes and improve app performance

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

WaveLift uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat — revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/privacy
• Sentry — sentry.io/privacy

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Videos and workout logs are stored on secure cloud servers. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us directly.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data and form-check videos only for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual videos at any time from your Gallery, which immediately removes them from our servers. If you choose to delete your account entirely (via Profile → Settings → Delete Account), your personal data and all uploaded videos are immediately and permanently wiped from our cloud storage without delay. Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Minimum Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use WaveLift. We do not knowingly collect personal information or videos from anyone under 18. If you believe an underage person has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your GDPR & Data Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have explicit rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can instantly delete your account and all associated video data via the Profile tab in the app.
• Right to Access & Portability: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit your personal data at any time in the app settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
